What your session feels like
Before the session
You will receive simple guidance to help you choose your location, clothing and overall feel.
During the session
I will guide you with prompts and activities rather than expecting you to hold uncomfortable poses.
We will walk, talk, laugh and create a mixture of natural moments and beautifully composed portraits.
After the session
Your edited online gallery will be delivered within approximately 5–7 business days.
You can select your 10 included photographs and purchase additional favourites or the complete gallery.

We keep things simple and considered - so you get the most authentic, beautiful images with zero fuss and the highest level of control.
1. Online Gallery
Your fully edited online gallery is delivered within 5-7 business days. (or as agreed upon in contract)
This gallery will include all the best images curated from your shoot.
2. Choose your favourites
Select your favourite images directly from the gallery.
There will be a section of images we recommend but you will have access to choose any of the edited images.
3. Final Delivery
Your final choices can then be downloaded in high-quality straight from the gallery.
You can also purchase additional images or even the full collection from this gallery as well.
4. Use your photos
You’ve now got your story captured and your image downloaded. Now you can share them with the people you care about and start planning your next shoot with Capture the Story.
Frequently asked questions
We feel awkward in photographs. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Most people feel that way before their session. You will be guided throughout the shoot, and the emphasis is on interacting with each other rather than performing for the camera.
Where will the session take place?
Sessions are available at selected outdoor locations around Mandurah. We will choose a location that suits the atmosphere you want. Perth and locations outside the standard area may be available with additional travel charges.
What happens if it rains?
Where weather makes the planned session unsuitable, we will arrange an alternative date in accordance with the booking terms.
How many photographs will we receive?
Your package includes 10 professionally edited, high-resolution photographs. Your gallery will usually contain additional edited images that can be purchased separately.
Can we bring our dog?
Possibly. Mention this when enquiring so we can select an appropriate location and plan accordingly.
When is payment required?
A $50 booking retainer secures your date. The remaining balance is due before the photography session.

Need a few more favourites? Additional edited images can be purchased directly from your online gallery. Your gallery is curated to be full of the best shots from your shoot and custom pricing is available for full gallery purchase scaled to the quantity of final images.
