Capturing the Launch of Chattabox
The Chattabox launch was a really meaningful event to be involved in. Chattabox is a mental health conscious clothing brand created by my friend and fellow creative Richy_BTW, who is also well known within the automotive scene.
Richy has built a strong name for himself online, with nearly 50,000 followers on Instagram, but what stood out most at this event was not just the reach of the brand. It was the heart behind it.
The launch brought together a group of photographers and creatives, each given the freedom to capture the clothing in their own unique style. That made the event feel less like a standard brand shoot and more like a creative collaboration.
Everyone had their own eye, their own taste, and their own way of seeing the clothing. That created a really interesting atmosphere because the same pieces could be interpreted in completely different ways depending on who was behind the camera.
For me, it was an honour to shoot alongside everyone there.
Brand launches are always exciting to photograph because they carry so much meaning. They represent the work that has happened behind the scenes, the courage it takes to release something into the world, and the beginning of a new chapter for the person or business behind it.
With Chattabox, that meaning felt even stronger because of the mental health focus behind the brand. Clothing can be more than just something people wear. It can carry a message, start conversations, represent identity, and help people feel connected to something.
That is what made this launch worth capturing.
My goal during the shoot was to create images that reflected both the clothing and the creative energy around the brand. I wanted the photos to feel natural, expressive, and connected to the people in the room rather than overly staged or disconnected.
For small businesses, clothing brands, creatives, and local entrepreneurs, launch photography can be incredibly valuable. It gives you content to announce your brand, promote your products, build trust, share your story, and create momentum across your website and social media.
A launch only happens once. Having strong photos from that moment gives you something to keep using long after the event has finished.
The Chattabox launch was creative, collaborative, and meaningful. It was a privilege to be part of it and to help document the beginning of something with a strong purpose behind it.
